No. 75 UCDA P4/878

Handwritten note by Hugh Kennedy on the registration of the Anglo-Irish
Treaty at the League of Nations

DUBLIN, 2 May 1923

So far as we know the Treaty has not been registered with the League of Nations. The question of an application by us to have it registered is closely involved in the question of our membership of the League.

The question of its being incumbent upon the British Govt to present the Treaty for registration is one between the British Govt & the League & we do not propose to invite a justified rebuff by making representations to the British Govt on the matter.
