Please communicate formally to the Secretary General of the League1 that Ireland intends to maintain neutrality in the present war. It will not be necessary to refer to belligerents by name nor to mention any dates as was done in the case of the Argentine notification forwarded with your minute S.Gen.1/1 of the 14th September.2
