No. 501 NAI DFA 11/2
London, 31 December 1930
I beg to inform you that I have deposited the ratification of the London Naval Treaty, 1930, at the Foreign Office at 9.45 this morning. I asked the head of the Treaty Department of the Foreign Office to let me have a copy of the Certificate of Deposit which the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and I signed. Mr. Henderson informed me that he was leaving London on the 14th January for Geneva and added that he wished to be there for the discussion on the Briand proposals.
