The Minister for External Affairs was authorised to arrange for the ratification of the Treaty of Commerce and Navigation between the Irish Free State and Portugal signed at Dublin on the 29th October, 1929.
The Minister's proposal that the instrument of ratification should be sealed with the Great Seal of the Irish Free State and transmitted to His Majesty the King for signature, was approved.
The Royal Irish Academy's Documents on Irish Foreign Policy series has published an eBook of confidential correspondence on the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations.
The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
