6. The Oath of Allegiance - Communications with Dominions
Arising out of the correspondence with the British Government on the subject of the Oath of Allegiance, the President communicated to the Cabinet the terms of messages which he as Minister for External Affairs had received from the Prime Ministers of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, dealing with the relations between the Irish Free State and Great Britain.
The Royal Irish Academy's Documents on Irish Foreign Policy series has published an eBook of confidential correspondence on the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations.
The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
