45. Minister decided not to seek re-election to Council. Support of Irish Free State for Australian candidature already asked for and promised in following telegram on 27th June to Canberra.
No. 1. I have received your telegram of the 16th informing me of the candidature of the Commonwealth of Australia for the Council of the League of Nations. I am happy to inform you that the Irish delegation will be authorised to give its support.
