The President does not wish to express any views on the proposal that the Irish Quartering of the Royal Standard should be carried out at the Coronation Ceremony. It should be clearly understood however that the carrying of the Irish Quartering does not in any way associate Saorstát Éireann with the Coronation Ceremony.
