Your telegram 2011 my protest to State Department is front page news in New York and Washington papers. Reporters in the first instance got news from State Department. Associated Press accounts summaries give my representation as follows (1) Ireland is neutral (2) Ireland's trade is hit, particularly the imports of wheat, maize, fertilisers, (3) American ships trading Irish ports have been un-molested. (4) No more danger Irish ports than Norwegian or Mediterranean.
The Royal Irish Academy's Documents on Irish Foreign Policy series has published an eBook of confidential correspondence on the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations.
The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
