British demands for ports have not yet gone beyond parliamentary and press campaign. Taoiseach's reply to Churchill represents universal will of people. Ports will not be yielded except to overwhelming force. Full text of Taoiseach's statement will be broadcast short wave Wednesday 8.45 p.m. G.M.T.

The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
