Minute by Joseph P. Walshe on Ireland's contribution to the League of Nations
Dublin, 30 November 1940
I talked it over with the Minister.1 He feels we might have to use the device of the token vote in order to avoid accusation of deserting League. He agrees that our general attitude towards the League and its offshoots should be that of negative benevolence.
