LEAGUE OF NATIONS: Position of Ireland during Emergency
Consideration was given to a memorandum, dated 13th March, 1941,1 submitted by the Department of External Affairs, relative to the payment of the Irish contribution for 1940 to the League of Nations.
It was agreed that it should be left to the Taoiseach (as Minister for External Affairs) for decision as to whether
a. the full contribution, or
b. half the contribution
should be paid in respect of 1940.

The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
