With reference to your minute of the 6th March,1 we do not receive from the British copies of despatches from their Representatives abroad. As our relationship to the Commonwealth is entirely different from that of Great Britain and the Dominions inter se, we regard it as quite natural that such documents should not be supplied to us.
When you have the time, therefore, we shall be very interested to see a summary of the despatch mentioned in your minute.
The Royal Irish Academy's Documents on Irish Foreign Policy series has published an eBook of confidential correspondence on the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations.
The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
