Following consideration of the report of the Ministers for External Affairs and Finance on their discussions with representatives of the British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand Governments at Chequers on Sunday, the 17th October, 1948, approval was given to a Note, in the terms of the annexed schedule, to be communicated to those Governments by the Minister for External Affairs.1
