Consideration was given to a revised draft, submitted by the Minister for External Affairs, of the Republic of Ireland Bill, 1948, of which a previous draft entitled the 'Executive Power of the State (International Relations) Bill, 1948', was considered by the government on the 9th November, 1948.1 The text of the Bill was approved subject to (a) section 3 being made section 1 and (b) consideration being given by the Attorney General to the question of inserting in the long title of the Bill, immediately after the word 'Government', the words 'and as and when advised by the Government'.
The Royal Irish Academy's Documents on Irish Foreign Policy series has published an eBook of confidential correspondence on the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations.
The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
