Arising out of the official communiqué issued on the 6th January, 1949, following the discussions recently held in London between members of the British Government and members of the Government of the Six Counties, it was decided that the Minister for External Affairs, on behalf of the Government, should present to the British authorities an aide-mémoire in the terms of the annexed schedule.1
