The Minister for External Affairs submitted the draft text of a Note Verbal,1in the terms of the annexed Schedule, which he proposed to communicate to the Secretariat of State of the Holy See relative to the proposed appointment of the Most Reverend Monsignore Ettore Felici to be the Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland in succession to the late Most Reverend Dr. Paschal Robinson.
The draft text was approved.

The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
