POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS.
Consideration was given to a reply drafted by the Minister of External Affairs to Colonial Office Despatch No. 689 of the 29th November relative to the powers[,] duties and functions of his Department as provided for in the Ministers and Secretaries Bill at present before the Oireachtas.1
The draft was approved subject to the omission of all references to the proposed appointment of a Minister at Washington.2
