The matter having been further discussed it was decided to adhere to the decision of the 18th ultimo (No. C. 2/264)1 not to accept the offer of the British Government to act as host to the Dominion delegations to the coming Imperial Conference.
It was considered desirable that the State should bear the expenses of its own delegation on this occasion.

The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
