Change in method of communication with the British Government
A proposal by the Minister for External Affairs1 that the present system of communication between the Governor-General and the Sec. of State for Dominion Affairs should be replaced by a system of direct communication between the two Governments, to be put into operation on the 1st May, 1927, if possible, was approved.

The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
