Commercial Treaties - General Policy
Consideration having been given to a memorandum submitted by the Minister for Industry and Commerce under date of 14th May, 1928,1 the Minister was authorised to proceed with the negotiation of Commercial treaties with foreign countries on a most-favoured-nation basis, and with Dominion countries as far as may be practicable, on a most-favoured-Dominion basis.
The Royal Irish Academy's Documents on Irish Foreign Policy series has published an eBook of confidential correspondence on the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations.
The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
