Despatch from T.M. Healy to L.S. Amery (London)
(No. 52) (Copy)

Dublin, 24 February 1927

Sir,

I have the honour to inform you that it has been brought to the notice of His Majesty's Government in the Irish Free State that the British Representative proposes to make a statement at the forty-fourth Meeting of the Council of the League of Nations regarding 'Form of Treaties negotiated in future under the auspices of the League of Nations'.

2. His Majesty's Government in the Irish Free State would like to be informed as soon as possible of the exact nature of this statement if, as appears probable, it has any relation to the resolutions of the Imperial Conference.

I have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your most obedient,
humble Servant,
[stamped] (Sgd.) T.M. Healy.
