I beg to inform you that numerous newspapers, both in Berlin and all through the provinces, have published a report from Amsterdam to the effect that the newly nominated Irish Minister cannot take up his appointment in Berlin, in view of the fact that his Letters of Credence should, in the ordinary way, be signed by the British King.
