Handwritten letter from Malcolm MacDonald to Eamon de Valera

London, 27 March 1936

Dear Mr. de Valera,

This is just a note to say how glad I am to hear that your eye operation is safely over. I do hope that you will make a steady recovery from it, and that the result will soon be a great improvement in your eye-sight.

Of course do not bother to get anyone to acknowledge this. It is just a note of sincere relief and good wishes.

Yours sincerely,
Malcolm MacDonald
