No. 336  NAI DFA 419/44

Personal code telegram from Joseph P. Walshe to William Warnock (Berlin)
(No. 186) (2/12)

DUBLIN, 1 November 1943

Have been informed that Jews holding neutral visas are exempted from deportation and bad treatment. Is this true? I have been asked to give visas to number of named Jews in Holland and Belgium as a protection whether they eventually come here or not. Would such step be good or bad for the Jews concerned?
