BERLIN, 28 April 1944

Your telegram 83.1 Official my despatch 24th March2 has promised early definite decision. He says Irish or any other visas would have no weight in connection with possible deportation as those deported are Jews e.g. German Polish Czecho-Slovakian whom German Government regard as belonging to Germany. He said persons interned V.[ittel] are not deported.
