Letter from Seán MacBride to George R. Reilly1 (San Francisco)
(D/6/1) (D/6)

Dublin, 11 February 1949

On behalf of myself and my colleagues I wish to thank you most sincerely for your cable of good wishes on the occasion of the All-Party Conference at the Mansion House.2 The enthusiastic support for this initiative received from our friends all over the world is a great help and encouragement. I am convinced that a really united and determined drive by the Irish at home and abroad can bring to an end the injustice of Partition.

(Sgd.) S. MacB.

1 George R. Reilly, national organiser, Ancient Order of Hibernians, San Francisco.
