The Minister desires me to thank you for your very interesting report of the 23rd January,1 concerning the position of the Churches in Germany.

In addition to reports on the internal political situation, the Minister is anxious to receive constant reports from you concerning Germany's foreign policy, e.g., her relations with other European States, particularly the neighbouring States, and her attitude on important international questions, such as Disarmament.
