The matters arising at the present stage of the negotiations with the representatives of the British Government were further considered at a meeting of the Government from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., and at a resumed meeting from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. to-day. The discussion will be continued at a meeting on Wednesday, the 16th instant, at 11 a.m.
