Rang Herr von Thadden this morning re Jews. He said he might have reply early next week.
He told me on the 3rd inst. that the Jews in question had in fact been in Vittel and had been transferred to another camp in France for purposes of deportation; the measures for deportation had been suspended pending decision on our démarche.

Met H. von T. at Diplomatic lunch to-day. He said no decision yet reached, that he was going to Hauptquartier this evening for 24 hours and might bring reply back with him.
