'European Conference on Organization of Agricultural Markets, Paris,
July 1954: Irish Representation'

Dublin, 29 June 1954

Following consideration of a memorandum dated the 28th June, 1954,1 submitted by the Minister for Agriculture2 relative to a meeting of the European Conference on the Organization of Agricultural Markets which is due to open in Paris on the 6th July, 1954, it was agreed

  1. that Ireland should be represented at the meeting by a delegation led by the Minister;

and

  1. that the Irish delegation should maintain Ireland’s previous attitude in favour of the transfer of the work of the Conference to the Organization for European Economic Co-operation.
