Following a discussion on the subject of Partition and the unlawful use of force, it was decided that the Taoiseach, on behalf of the Government, should make a statement in Dáil Éireann on the 30th November, 1955, on lines which were indicated in the course of the discussion.1

The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
