PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ
'A meeting was held between representatives of the Government of Éire and representatives of the United Kingdom Government at 10, Downing Street this afternoon, with the Prime Minister in the chair.
A general survey of the outstanding questions affecting the relations between the two countries was begun. The meeting adjourned shortly after 6.30, and will be resumed to-morrow at 12 noon.'
The Royal Irish Academy's Documents on Irish Foreign Policy series has published an eBook of confidential correspondence on the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations.
The international network of Editors of Diplomatic Documents was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989.
